Project Responsbility Form

Use this form to help students share responsibility for the project.

Each group member must participate in writing the script and developing the ideas for the required elements. Individual group members will be responsible for completing tasks which help to finalize the project and the performance. All group members must be assigned a task. Tasks should be assigned evenly.

Your group must assign the following tasks:

Group leader—one student who will keep the group on task and the project moving toward completion

Scribe #1—one student who will take notes during group discussions regarding the script

Scribe #2—one student who will take notes during group discussions regarding the effects

Typist—one or two students who will type the script (This task may be divided by scene.)

Several group members must be responsible for the creation of: sets, props, and music/sound effects. Note: Individual group members are responsible for creating/obtaining their own costumes.

List any materials your group will require and the student who will be responsible for obtaining the items. All items should be brought to class on the day before the FIRST performance!

Make sure all items are labeled with the owner’s name.

Original Use

This assignment is geared toward William Shakespeare's Julius Caesar; however, the assignment can be adapted to any of Shakespeare's other plays as well as to other literature.
