The
Writing Tutor welcomes English, language arts,
and interdisciplinary
lesson plans and writing assignments!
If you would like to submit a lesson plan or a writing assignment,
please attach your .txt, .doc or .pdf pages to an email and send them
to thetutor@thewritingtutor.biz.
Feel free to include any handouts or lecture notes that accompany the
lesson plan or writing assignment.
Please include your name, city, state, and the grade for which the
lesson was prepared. Also include the subject you teach if it is
something other than English or language arts. If you would like the
name of your school displayed with your lesson plan or writing
assignment, please include that as well.
Be sure to
include credit information at the bottom of each formatted
page. (e.g. I include my copyright information at the bottom of all
printable pages.) If you have a classroom website that you would like
The Writing Tutor to link to, please provide the URL.
Note: I prefer preformatted handouts that
have been saved as PDF files. PDF documents are created easily in
Microsoft Word by selecting “print” and then clicking “save as PDF.”
PDF pages will retain their original formatting, but other document
types will be reformatted where necessary.
